Early Mid-Autumn Festival for children in Chau Thanh commune

On the evening of September 22, at the hall of the Military Club of Division 5, the Military Radio and Television Center, the Committee for Population, Family and Children of the Ministry of National Defense, the Political Department of Military Region 7 coordinated with the People's Committee of Chau Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province and sponsoring units to organize the Border Autumn Moon Festival Night program - an early Mid-Autumn Festival activity for children in Chau Thanh commune.

Attending the event were Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan - Deputy Director of the Military Radio and Television Center; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thuy Hoa - Chief of Office of the Committee for Population, Family and Children of the Ministry of National Defense ; representatives of the leaders of Military Region 7, Division 5 and many students and children of Chau Thanh commune.

The Mid-Autumn Festival took place in a warm, joyful atmosphere with many meaningful and practical activities such as music, circus, magic, lion dance, star lantern procession, and feast for children and local people.

Promoting the spirit of “Mutual love and support”, the Organizing Committee and accompanying units presented many practical gifts to the children. Among them were 30 scholarships for students who overcame difficulties to study well; 40 bicycles; 400 gifts including candy, school supplies, and Mid-Autumn Festival toys for the children participating in the program.

With the hope that the flag route will be extended and the spirit of “Pride of the National Flag” will be spread, the Newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong has presented Tay Ninh people with 500 flags and 15 “Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper Scholarships”, each worth 1 million VND. The total value of resources and gifts is about 1.5 billion VND.

Representative of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper presented a symbolic plaque to donate 500 national flags to Chau Thanh commune.

On this occasion, the Warm Love Volunteer Club and Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City signed a cooperation agreement with the Military Radio and Television Center to sponsor 10 scholarships worth 2 billion VND for children in difficult circumstances who have the will to excel in their studies.

In Tay Ninh, this Mid-Autumn Festival, there are two students eligible to receive scholarships, including Dang Thi My Tien, a 12th grade student at Long Huu Dong High School; and Mai Thi Ngoc Vy, a 10th grade student at Khanh Hung High School.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan - Deputy Director of the Military Radio and Television Center delivered a speech wishing the children of Chau Thanh commune a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

Speaking at the Mid-Autumn Festival greetings to children in Chau Thanh commune, Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan - Deputy Director of the Military Radio and Television Center said that officers and soldiers in the units will always follow every step of the students' growth; hoping that they will always be good and studious, unite with friends, preserve and promote the fine traditions of the nation.

He believes that from this borderland, many children will excel in their studies, become useful citizens for society, contribute to building the homeland of Tay Ninh to develop more and more, and preserve every inch of sacred land of the Fatherland.

This is the 8th "Autumn Moon in the Border" season organized by the Military Radio and Television Center in coordination with the Committee for Population, Family and Children of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 3 Command, Military Region 7 Command, Border Guard Command, Vietnam Coast Guard Command, Military Hospital 354, Military Hospital 7A.

This year, the program is held in Tay Ninh and Co To provinces (Quang Ninh). In Tay Ninh province, the program is held from September 21-22, 2025 in Hoa Hoi and Chau Thanh communes.
