It is expected that 30,000 union members and workers will receive support from Hanoi Trade Union during Tet.

On November 7, according to the Hanoi City Labor Federation (LFF), on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, it is expected to support 30,000 union members and workers. These are union members and workers at grassroots unions under the Hanoi City Labor Federation or workers at units and enterprises in Hanoi that have not yet established a union organization but have paid union fees.

The beneficiaries are union members and workers in difficult circumstances, themselves or their relatives such as: spouses, children with serious illnesses, accidents, natural disasters, fires, work accidents, occupational diseases; union members and workers whose working hours have been reduced, who have lost their jobs, whose labor contracts have been suspended, or whose income has decreased; union members and workers in enterprises with difficulties in production and business, who have been owed wages, and who have no Tet bonuses. Of which, the support provided through the direct superior trade union at the grassroots level is 26,500 people at the rate of 1,000,000 VND/person. Support for grassroots trade unions under the City Labor Federation is 600 people at the rate of 1,000,000 VND/person.

The activities to take care of the Lunar New Year 2025 of the Hanoi City Labor Confederation are organized with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" and the motto that all union members and workers have Tet. The program "Tet Union Market 2025" organized by the City Labor Confederation is expected to take place in 2 days from January 11, 2025 to January 12, 2025 (ie December 12, 13, Giap Thin year) with about 100 booths including products, goods, and necessities for Tet.

The number of vouchers given to union members and workers in difficulty is 5,800, each voucher worth 500,000 VND; 5,000 gifts worth 0 VND, each worth 300,000 VND. In addition, the program "Union Tet Journey - Spring 2025" is also taking place in 2 forms. Firstly, the organization supports sending industrial park workers back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and welcoming workers back to work after Tet at the city level. It is expected that about 30 cars will take and pick up 1,200 workers back to their hometowns and back to work according to the actual Tet holiday schedule of the enterprises. Secondly, support bus tickets in cash for 5,000 workers to return to their hometowns.

The program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" is organized centrally at the grassroots and upper-grassroots levels in accordance with the actual situation, ensuring safety, savings, efficiency, and attracting many union members and workers to participate.
