Enhancing dialogue skills for female union leaders and officials

On November 4, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized a training course for nearly 100 female leaders and cadres. These cadres came from the Confederations of Labor of the provinces and cities in the North (from Thua Thien - Hue and above) and the Central Industry Trade Unions.

Training content includes: Key tasks of women's work to implement the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023-2028; Orientation of women's activities and skills to direct and implement women's activities in the new situation; Deploying instructions for the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework" among female workers and civil servants in the new situation and new regulations on thematic commendation work; Policies for female workers and dialogue skills to represent, care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of female workers...

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Ms. Do Hong Van, Member of the Presidium, Head of the Women's Union of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, affirmed that in the process of leading and directing the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor always identified "Building a team of trade union officials with sufficient capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of the task" as one of the key tasks, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities.

To perform that task well, in recent years, the General Confederation of Labor and Trade Unions at all levels have always paid attention to training, fostering, and coaching to help the Union staff update new policies, regulations, and rules, thereby improving their qualifications, knowledge, skills, and expertise to perform well the functions and tasks of the Union organization.
