According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on September 27, 2025, the center of storm No. 10 was at 14.0°N - 116.6°E, about 580 km east-southeast of Hoang Sa archipelago; strong winds of level 11-12 (103-133 km/h), gusts of level 15; the storm moved in the West-Northwest direction at a speed of 35-40 km/h, nearly twice as fast as the average. It is forecasted that by 4:00 a.m. on September 28, the center of the storm was in the west of Hoang Sa archipelago, about 180 km east of Da Nang , strong winds of level 12-13, gusts of level 16; risk of strong winds, heavy rain, floods and inundation of coastal areas. The sea area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai may have waves 3-5 m high, near the center of the storm 5-7 m, and offshore in some places up to 8-10 m.
Faced with the complex developments of storm No. 10, BSR has proposed specific and detailed plans to be able to respond to all situations and emergencies. At the meeting to deploy the plan, BSR Deputy General Director Mai Tuan Dat directed specialized departments to closely monitor and periodically report the developments of storm No. 10 to the Company's leaders and the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention. The Maintenance and Repair Board organizes inspections and ensures the safety of maintenance work at the Plant, including: cleaning, fixing tarpaulins, materials on high places, and insulation for maintenance.
The Port Management Board urgently informs the vessels of service contractors and partners about the storm's developments so that they can have plans for safe anchoring and shelter. In addition, it reports to the Company's leaders to direct the closure of the port and stop importing and exporting goods if necessary. In addition, the Materials Management Board urgently checks the warehouses to ensure that the goods stored in the warehouse are not affected/impacted by heavy rain.
BSR Office organized inspections and ensured safety at administrative buildings, company headquarters, and employee housing areas... Other departments, divisions, and all employees urgently reviewed the status of items, works, assets, records, documents... to ensure minimal damage caused by storms and rains.
