Hue tourism accelerates in National Tourism Year 2025

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, it is estimated that in the first 10 months of 2025, the city will welcome about 5.39 million visitors, an increase of 65% over the same period last year. Of which, international visitors will reach more than 1.52 million, an increase of over 45%. The number of overnight guests is estimated at about 2.08 million, an increase of more than 40%, of which international visitors will reach 586,500, an increase of nearly 25%.

It is estimated that in the first 10 months of 2025, Hue city will welcome about 5.39 million visitors, an increase of 65% over the same period last year.

Total tourism revenue in the first 10 months reached more than VND10,700 billion, an increase of about 80% over the same period in 2024. With this result, the city's tourism industry has completed nearly 98% of the visitor number plan, 95% of the international visitor target and more than 90% of the year's revenue. The last two months of the year are the peak season for international visitors, which is expected to help Hue exceed the plan, affirming its position as a tourist center of the central region in the National Tourism Year 2025.

The tourism business system continues to expand with 87 operating units, including 65 international travel businesses, 15 domestic units and 7 travel agencies. In 9 months, 433 tour guide cards were issued and renewed, bringing the total number of cards in the area to 3,753 (of which 2,613 are international, 1,140 are domestic).

The city currently has 899 accommodation establishments with more than 14,300 rooms and 23,000 beds. 3-5 star hotels account for a high proportion, with 25 establishments, 3,486 rooms and 5,472 beds, well meeting the accommodation needs of high-end guests.

These figures show that Hue tourism is recovering strongly and making a breakthrough, creating momentum for the city to "win big" in the year hosting the National Tourism Year 2025.
