FPT Play will broadcast live and exclusively most of the matches in 3 NBA seasons (from 2025/26 to 2027/28) from October 25. This is the second agreement reached between the unit and the National Basketball Association of the US from 2022, making FPT Play the only domestic television service holding the right to exploit the NBA for 6 consecutive seasons.
Notably, this agreement, for the first time, gives domestic fans the opportunity to enjoy the full range of the world's biggest basketball tournaments. From the Preseason, Regular Season, Play-In Tournament, Playoffs to the NBA Finals and other special events such as NBA All-Star Weekend, All-Star Celebrity and NBA Draft..., all will be shown in international quality with vivid and in-depth Vietnamese commentary.
From the 209-226 games selected each season, the number of games per round will increase to 180 Regular Season games, 22-34 Playoffs games, 7 NBA Cup Finals/Play-in tournament games and 5 Preseason games (starting from the 2026/27 season). This means that domestic audiences can enjoy exciting and thrilling NBA games almost every day.
