Pig price today February 21, 2025: Highest in the South

Pig prices today, February 21, 2025, continued to witness an increase in a number of provinces and cities across the country. In particular, the South set a new peak of 75,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Pig prices today (February 21, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a slowdown after many consecutive days of increase in provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is still maintained in the range of 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, the level of 72,000 VND/kg is recorded in Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Thai Binh . On the contrary, Lao Cai and Nam Dinh are the two localities with the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

The price of live pigs today (February 21, 2025) in the Central Highlands region recorded Quang Tri as the only locality to increase by VND 1,000/kg and reach VND 71,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 and 74,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price in the region at 74,000 VND/kg. In contrast, Hue and Quang Nam sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 70,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 21, 2025) recorded a slight increase in the provinces of Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, and Tra Vinh, all increasing by VND 1,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 73,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. Of which, Dong Nai and Ben Tre set the highest price in the country at 75,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities have live pig prices fluctuating between 73,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 21, 2025) maintained a slight increase in some provinces and cities. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 70,000 - 75,000 VND/kg. In which, the South maintained the highest price in the country at 75,000 VND/kg.
