Pig prices in the Central Highlands are stable, with Gia Lai down 1,000 VND/kg.

(GLO)- On September 27, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region remained stable. In Gia Lai province alone, the price of live pigs decreased by VND1,000/kg, down to VND55,000/kg.

Today, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces are purchasing live pigs at 54,000 VND/kg.

In Hue, Da Nang , Quang Ngai and Dak Lak, the price of live pigs is stable at 55,000 VND/kg; in Khanh Hoa it is 56,000 VND/kg. In Lam Dong, the price of live pigs continues to remain at the highest level in the region at 57,000 VND/kg.

Similarly, the price of live pigs in the North today is stable, fluctuating between 54,000 and 56,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, in the South, the price of live pigs decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities.

Specifically, after the decrease, pork prices in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Dong Thap and Can Tho all dropped to 57,000 VND/kg; Vinh Long is currently at the lowest level in the region at 56,000 VND/kg, while Ca Mau is still at the highest level in the region at 58,000 VND/kg.
