The Congress Resolution set the target of economic growth rate (gross regional product, GRDP) for the 2025 - 2030 term at 10%/year or more. By 2030, the proportion of industry - construction in GRDP will account for about 44 - 45%; the proportion of digital economy in GRDP will be at least 30%. The average growth rate of the industrial sector will reach 12 - 13%/year.
The 1st Congress of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, set an economic growth target of over 10%/year, in which industry plays a leading role, with an increase target of 12 - 13%/year.

In particular, it is necessary to focus on investing in building smart manufacturing plants, digital technology and automation in the petrochemical, metallurgical and mechanical industries; develop a plan to convert traditional technology to green technology, use renewable energy (wind power, solar power, green hydrogen) to replace fossil fuels and advanced waste treatment systems to reduce emissions. Policies are needed to support businesses in accessing new technology through research and development (R&D) programs and technology transfer from international partners.
The provincial industry needs to focus on improving the quality of human resources, especially digital skills, environmental safety and innovation, to meet the human resource needs of large projects in Dung Quat Economic Zone in the future. Develop specialized training programs, linked to the actual needs of businesses. Have strong enough incentive policies to encourage and attract foreign experts and high-quality workers. At the same time, support local businesses in internal training.
Continue to drastically cut administrative procedures, simplify investment licensing, land and credit processes to attract FDI into the province's industrial parks and Dung Quat Economic Zone, with priority given to projects with high added value and environmental friendliness.
