Rescued 5 people in a house fire in Hanoi

On the morning of June 20, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team (PCCC&CNCH, Ha Dong District Police) said that the unit had just rescued 5 people in a house fire.

Accordingly, at nearly 4:00 a.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of the District Police received a fire report at house number 21, lane 249, Chien Thang Street (Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District). The unit mobilized 1 command vehicle, 2 fire trucks with officers and soldiers to the scene.

At the scene, the Fire Police and Rescue Force deployed a rescue team, successfully bringing 5 people on the roof down to the first floor safely. At the same time, the fire fighting force deployed a team to extinguish the fire.

According to authorities, the fire did not cause any human casualties, some kitchen utensils were deformed due to the heat of the fire.

The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit, which resulted in a fire.

Ha Dong District Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
