Who are the two new Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee?

(Dan Tri) - Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council and Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee were elected as Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee.

On the morning of October 17, at the second official working day of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh reported to the congress the results of the first meeting of the 18th City Party Executive Committee.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term, elected Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, 17th term, Head of the city's National Assembly delegation, to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term, 2025-2030 term.

The Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term, also elected four Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term.

The four new Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee include Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee; Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

Ms. Ha and Mr. Dong are the two new Deputy Secretaries of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha (born in 1971, from Ung Hoa, Hanoi), has a Master's degree in Finance - Banking. She worked for many years at the Hanoi Department of Finance and was Secretary of Thanh Oai District (formerly). Before being elected Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Ms. Ha served for many years as Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong (born in 1969, from Dong Anh, Hanoi), has a degree in Land Management Engineering and a Bachelor of Foreign Languages. He was Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly), then worked for many years as Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee before being elected Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.

The Hanoi People's Committee currently has Mr. Tran Sy Thanh as Chairman. The Vice Chairmen include: Mr. Le Hong Son, Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, Mr. Duong Duc Tuan, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Mr. Truong Viet Dung and Ms. Vu Thu Ha.
