Deadline for completing payment of benefits for officials who quit or retire early

QNgTV- Before October 10 is the latest deadline for ministries, branches and localities to complete payment of benefits and policies for officials and civil servants who quit their jobs or retire early.

Before October 10, the payment of benefits for all cases that have decided to quit their jobs before August 31 must be completed.

This is the content required by the Government in Resolution No. 303/NQ-CP on solutions to effectively implement two-level local government according to the Conclusion of the Politburo and Secretariat.

In particular, the Government requires the completion of payment of regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who quit their jobs or retire before the age according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP no later than October 10, 2025.

The Government also requires ensuring financial resources, human resources and facilities for the arrangement of the apparatus, payment of regimes and policies for those who quit their jobs or retire early according to regulations. These are all cases where decisions to quit their jobs have been made before August 31. If not completed, the responsibilities of the heads of agencies and local authorities must be clarified.

The Government also clarified the policy of dismissing cadres and civil servants who do not meet job requirements, as a basis for recruiting, arranging, training and fostering cadres and civil servants at the commune level, resolving the situation of surplus and shortage in some places, ensuring effective use of human resources.
