(NLDO)- A passenger bus overturned across National Highway 1 in Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province, injuring three people and causing panic among dozens of people.

According to the People's Committee of Ninh An Commune, Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province, the accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on January 2, in the Doc Da Trang area on National Highway 1 in Ngoc Son Village, Ninh An Commune.

At this time, the passenger car with license plate 68F-00330 driven by Danh Ven (residing in Thanh Tri commune, Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang province) traveling from North to South suddenly lost control and caused an accident.

As a result, the bus was damaged, 3 passengers were injured and taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, there were about 10 passengers on the bus.

At the scene, the passenger bus crashed into the curb and overturned across the road, causing traffic congestion on Highway 1.

According to the Traffic Safety Committee of Khanh Hoa province, the accident occurred on a steep road, with a smooth road surface, 6 lanes (4 motor lanes, 2 mixed lanes), and a complete traffic safety system. The weather at the time of the accident was showers, outside a densely populated area.
