Provincial Business Association celebrates Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day

Attending were leaders of communes, wards and business community, Lao Cai entrepreneurs.

Up to now, the whole province has over 12,000 registered enterprises, creating jobs for over 200,000 workers, contributing over 65% of the total local budget revenue. Enterprises operate in a variety of fields: industry - construction , trade - services, logistics, tourism, high-tech agriculture... contributing significantly to the growth of the province's GRDP. Many enterprises have affirmed their brands in the domestic market and reached out internationally, especially in mining, deep processing, import and export, tourism, and agricultural products.

In parallel with production and business activities, the business community of the province also actively participates in social security work, building new rural areas, supporting poor but studious students, and caring for the disadvantaged. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the province's enterprises have mobilized more than 200 billion VND for social and charitable activities.

Among those great achievements, there is an important contribution from the force of female entrepreneurs in Lao Cai province, women who are both responsible for family affairs and brave in the marketplace. They have boldly started businesses, innovated, created jobs for thousands of workers, and actively contributed to social work and charity.

In the coming time, Lao Cai Business Community will focus on applying information technology, promoting digital transformation and green transformation to improve competitiveness, optimize production and business activities, ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly development. The Association will focus on building corporate culture, promoting business ethics, linking economic development with social responsibility and environmental protection.

On this occasion, 2 collectives and 10 individuals with contributions to the development of Lao Cai province were honored to receive certificates of merit from the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and 15 certificates of merit from the Provincial Business Association.
