About 200km from Hanoi , along with Na Ka, Bao Bao plum valley (Phieng Luong commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province) is famous for being the largest plum growing area in Moc Chau.

Late January to February every year is the time when plum blossoms on Moc Chau plateau begin to bloom.

Plum blossom season in Moc Chau usually lasts about two to three weeks, depending on weather and humidity, the blooming time can vary each year.

This is also the time when visitors can admire the white flowers blooming across the plateau with the pure white color of plum blossoms spreading across the beautiful valley.

Tourists coming to Moc Chau this spring, in addition to enjoying the majestic mountain scenery, can also immerse themselves in the white plum forests blooming all over the hillsides, valleys or inside the poetic homestays.

The morning dew drops on the fragile plum blossom branches hold back the footsteps of visitors.

Ms. Thu Ha (in Dong Da district, Hanoi) and her family and friends traveled nearly 200km to Bao Bao plum valley and said: "Every year, I choose the most beautiful plum blossom season to travel, because plum blossoms only bloom for a short time, so I still try to arrange my work to go on a spring trip, immersing myself in the white plum forests, watching the plum blossoms bloom and enjoying the first plums of the season are unforgettable experiences."

Chang Mi, who just had a camping trip with her family, shared: "Moc Chau is entering the most beautiful plum blossom season of the year. The plum blossoms are blooming with a pure white color that captivates people's hearts. The flower season will still be beautiful for about 1 to 2 weeks, so everyone should go on a spring trip quickly or else they will miss out and have to wait until next year."
