Another pickleball tournament in Ho Chi Minh City brings together many high-level players to compete.

Phiten Pickleball Cup 2025 will compete in the following categories: Men's doubles 6.5, mixed doubles and women's doubles 5.0 (women's doubles will receive an additional 0.5 level point), Junior U14 freestyle doubles and Junior U12 freestyle doubles.

After the opening ceremony, the 6.5 and Junior U14 freestyle doubles events of the tournament began. This year, there were 24 U12 and 24 U14 athletes.

The young athletes with determination and passion created dramatic plays that were no less than those of skilled athletes, creating a vibrant cheering atmosphere.

The tournament brings together 64 level 5.0 athletes and 64 level 6.5 athletes. Each event is divided into 8 groups.

The total prize value of this year's tournament is up to 170 million VND. Notably, Phiten aims to organize the tournament non-profit.

Phiten Pickleball Cup 2025 is held on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Phiten brand. Not only is it a healthy sports playground, the tournament also has the meaning of connecting the community, encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle and spreading the spirit of sports in Vietnam.

Phiten's purpose in launching the tournament is to create a professional, healthy playground for the community of people who love and practice pickleball.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Trang, representative of Phiten brand, Head of the Organizing Committee (OC) of the tournament, shared: “Through this tournament, we not only celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Phiten, but also want to create a professional and healthy playground. More than a tournament, this is a sincere thank you to Phiten's companions - the athletes, who have always trusted and used our products every day”.

“With the mission of social responsibility, Phiten Vietnam wishes to create conditions for children and young talents to have the opportunity to nurture their passion and shine. On the journey to conquer sports, we have expanded the tournament with two more events, which are Junior U12 freestyle pairs and Junior U14 freestyle pairs,” Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Trang added.

In the end, Le Chau - Phuc Can Tho won the championship, leaving their mark with solid play and the ability to explode at the right time at key moments, while the runner-up was Dai Doan - Khoi Tran and the third place went to the athlete duo Linh - Dai and Quan Le - Huong Nguyen. All 3 teams excelled in asserting their mettle through impressive breakthroughs and lasting solidarity throughout the tournament.

In the Junior U12 and U14 categories, the young players competed enthusiastically, bringing many beautiful shots. In the end, the U12 championship belonged to Truong Vinh Van - Nguyen Duc Nghiem, the runner-up was Dau Hoang Hai - Nguyen Gia Bao, and the third prize went to the two couples Nguyen Vuong Bao - Tran Minh Dai and Thien Kim - Dan Thanh.

In the U14 category, the championship belonged to Hieu Minh - Dolar, Duc Phat - Bao Han won second place and tied for third place were the athlete couples Le Thai Xuan - Nguyen Gia Bao and Rafael Huynh - Nguyen Hai Dang .
