Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Fair 2025: Brilliant "Vietnam Night"

On the evening of September 3, the Vietnam Night art program with the theme "The Flow of Quintessence" took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The program is within the framework of the 19th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2025 (ITE HCMC 2025) organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the City Department of Tourism.

Attending were Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and delegates from provinces and cities and 41 countries and territories attending ITE HCMC 2025 and the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO).

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, said that as a country located in the lower Mekong River basin - a legendary river flowing through five countries, generations of Vietnamese people have followed the river to come - relied on the river to live - and developed thanks to the river.

The message "Flow" is not only an image of nature, but also a metaphor for the inheritance and continuation of the "quintessence" distilled from history, heritage, and cultural depth of each country along the river, to then blend and crystallize into everlasting values.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc also affirmed that the theme "Flow of Essence" is not only a welcome to distinguished guests to beautiful and peaceful Vietnam, but also a message of friendship and cooperation for sustainable development, to nurture the flow of nature and culture of communities and ethnic groups in the development process.

The program is also a welcome from Ho Chi Minh City to friends around the world with a new appearance, space, and potential: A modern megacity, the leading dynamic economic and financial center of the country with an increasingly developed transport and logistics infrastructure system, strong inter-regional and international connections.

A megacity that harmoniously converges many cultures, where traditional identity blends with modern, creative lifestyle; with a rich history, mountains - forests - rivers - seas, the first island ramsan area of Vietnam, a mangrove biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO...

In particular, Ho Chi Minh City is a megacity that is gradually becoming a regional MICE event center, as well as an attractive, dynamic and promising tourist destination.

The Vietnam Night event is a cultural bridge, where the quintessence of Vietnamese tourism and cuisine is introduced to delegates, guests, senior Vietnamese and international leaders to experience the profound experiences of Vietnamese people and culture.

Attending the event, delegates enjoyed a variety of unique art forms, including the Ball Dance "Welcome Ho Chi Minh City" and Mashup "Come to My Vietnamese People - Hello Ho Chi Minh City"; the short film "Ho Chi Minh City - The Flow of Essence"; the song and martial arts performance "Cultural Essence"; the performance of the Ao Dai fashion collection "Heritage Essence"...

Besides, Vietnam Night: Cuisine - Quintessence of rice culture, with dishes that bring a cultural experience journey in every flavor and preparation method conveying Vietnamese cultural identity./.
