Quang Tri Provincial Business Association gives support to people overcoming storm and flood consequences and the Cuban people

QTO - In order to express the sympathy of the business community in the province for the people of the Central region who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 10 and the strong friendship between Vietnam and Cuba, on the morning of October 13, at the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association organized a ceremony to support the people of the Central region to overcome the consequences of storm Bualoi and the Cuban people. Attending were comrade Dao Manh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Implementing the program "Vietnam-Cuba Friendship" and supporting the people of the Central and Northern regions to overcome the consequences of storms No. 10 and 11, the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association has issued a letter calling on and launching a movement among all businessmen and member enterprises in the province to join hands in responding. Accordingly, by the end of October 10, the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association has received more than 1 billion VND to support the Cuban people and 216 million VND to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, expressed his sincere thanks for the gesture and social responsibility of all businessmen and enterprises in the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association. He emphasized that the entire amount of donations will be promptly transferred by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to the Cuban people and localities severely affected by storms and floods, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives, restore production, and rebuild infrastructure.
