Giving gifts and free medical examinations to hundreds of people in Xa Vi village

QTO - On October 12, the Hue Central Hospital Retirees Club organized a program to give gifts, provide free medical examinations and treatment, and dispense free medicine to poor people in Xa Vi village, Huong Hiep commune, Quang Tri province.

At the program, former doctors and nurses of the Retired Club of Hue Central Hospital examined, provided health consultations and instructed on how to prevent and avoid some common diseases for 250 people in Xa Vi village. At the same time, some necessary medicines were distributed to people who came for examination. The program also presented 150 gifts including necessities and cash (worth 400,000 VND/gift) to 150 households in difficult circumstances in the village.

It is known that Xa Vi is a highland village with a large number of ethnic minorities, whose lives mainly depend on slash-and-burn farming, so there are still many difficulties.
