On the morning of September 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a scientific seminar on Preserving and promoting the value of Cheo art in Thai Binh province. Attending the seminar were comrade Pham Van Nghiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On March 4, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 484/QD-UBND approving the Project on developing Cheo art in Thai Binh province for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. The scientific seminar on Preserving and promoting the value of Cheo art in Thai Binh province is one of the tasks set out in the Project.

The workshop attracted nearly 20 presentations from managers, scientists, cultural researchers, and authors working in many fields in Thai Binh and Hanoi . The focus was on the main issues: the origin and history of Cheo art in Thai Binh; the current status of Cheo art activities in Thai Binh; solutions to preserve and promote the value of Cheo art in the province in the current period.

Also at the workshop, delegates watched a performance of Cheo art, including famous Cheo tunes and excerpts, loved by audiences inside and outside the province.

The researcher presented a paper at the conference.
