More than 1.3 million young people participated in "Digital Popular Education" in the first 6 months of 2025

Within the framework of the 3rd Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, term IX, held on June 22 in Hanoi, delegates discussed and gave opinions on many important contents. Among them were the results of the Union's work and youth movement in the first 6 months of this year, and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.

According to reports at the Conference, closely following the Association's work program and youth movement this year, in the past 6 months, all levels of the Vietnam Youth Union across the country have promoted movements, creating an environment for members and youth to have the opportunity to practice, contribute, and demonstrate the spirit of dedication, initiative, and volunteering for the community.

Up to now, there have been approximately 12,000 youth projects and nearly 8,400 propaganda and education activities to prevent moral degradation and social evils implemented by more than 10,800 Youth Union organizations at all levels.

In the past 6 months alone, nearly 780 innovative start-up projects of young people have been supported by the Association to connect with businesses, venture capital funds or from appropriate funding sources; more than 3 million young people have participated in consulting and career guidance activities, of which nearly 755,000 young people have been introduced to jobs.

In addition, 8.8 million members and young people have participated in volunteer activities organized by the Association at all levels. As a result, 1 million young people, people in difficult circumstances, families with meritorious services, etc. have received free health care and chronic disease screening.

Notably, more than 1.3 million young people have participated in "Digital Literacy" activities, supporting the improvement of foreign language skills and international integration. In addition, more than 600,000 new members have been developed by the Association at all levels, and 239 Association organizations in non-state enterprises, industrial parks, export processing zones, etc. have been newly established.

At the Conference, through discussion and comments, delegates approved two major projects including "Youth participating in preserving and promoting Vietnamese national cultural identity in the period of 2024-2029" and "Solidarity and gathering of young workers and laborers in the period of 2024-2029"; approved the working theme, major orientation of activities in the Association's work and youth movement in 2026; worked on personnel work.
