Promoting disbursement of funds in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation

According to the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, regarding the disbursement of funds for the field of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the province, in 2025, the total budget allocated for spending on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation is 1,018 billion VND (including 297.6 billion VND for regular expenditure and 720.4 billion VND for development investment expenditure). As of the end of August 2025, the disbursement rate reached 35.7%, with development investment expenditure in this field alone reaching a disbursement rate of about 45% of the allocated budget.

At the working session, representatives of relevant departments and branches shared the current situation, difficulties and proposed solutions to ensure the implementation of the target of disbursement of funds for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested relevant departments, branches and localities to review and integrate science, technology, innovation and digital transformation tasks into the annual work plan and budget estimates appropriately and in accordance with regulations. At the same time, focus on implementing practical and effective solutions for development in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; promote the development of pillars of digital government, digital economy , digital society, etc.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son emphasized: The Department of Science and Technology needs to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to organize online conferences across the province in conjunction with universities and technology enterprises to exchange, listen to opinions, recommendations, and propose solutions to promote the implementation of tasks, improve the efficiency of disbursement of funds in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation... The Provincial People's Committee will also have a working session with relevant departments and branches on the progress of disbursement of funds in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in 2025 and propose tasks related to this field in 2026.
