More than 1,000 works entered the Press Award 'For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture'

On October 9 in Hanoi, the 3rd National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture" - 2025 officially entered the final round, marking a vibrant and creative season, deeply reflecting the role of the press in the construction and development of an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.

After nearly 4 months of launching, the Secretariat - Synthesis of the award has received 1,040 entries from most of the central and local press agencies. This is an impressive number in the context of the press industry being reorganized and streamlined in the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Party Central Committee. 927 qualified entries have been entered into the preliminary round, including 223 print, 385 electronic, 45 radio, 103 television and 171 photojournalism.

122 excellent works were selected for the final round, reflecting a variety of journalism types and topics. Highlights include: the role of culture in the new era; development of creative industries, cinema, books, tourism, sports ; heritage preservation; innovation and copyright in the digital environment. Many works touch on the themes of family, filial piety, mutual love and solidarity in natural disasters, as well as patriotic stories, spreading profound human values...

According to the Preliminary Jury, this year's season stands out for its quality of work, diverse expression and modern approach. The press has demonstrated its pioneering role in orienting public opinion, arousing national cultural pride, and reflecting the strong movements of the cultural industry in the context of integration and digital transformation.

The summary and award ceremony is expected to be held in November 2025 in Hanoi , with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, central agencies and many press agencies and prominent journalists.
