More than 400 actors compete in Vinataba Mass Arts Festival

On the afternoon of October 21, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Corporation and the Trade Union of Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba) held the opening ceremony of the 6th Mass Art Performance for Workers and Civil Servants in 2025. The event gathered more than 400 non-professional actors from 21 member units nationwide, taking place on October 21 and 22, 2025.

With the theme “Vinataba – Firm belief, steady steps towards the future”, the festival was held in a vibrant competitive atmosphere to celebrate the country’s major holidays; to welcome the success of the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, the 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; and at the same time towards the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels.

This is the sixth time that Vietnam Tobacco Corporation has organized a mass art performance and the third time it has taken place in the city named after Uncle Ho. This year, the performance gathered a large number of non-professional actors who are cadres, workers, and laborers selected from grassroots performances, representing 21 affiliated units, including 8 units in the North and 13 units in the South. There are 12 units participating in the program and 9 units participating in the performance, creating a rich and colorful art space.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ho Ky Quoc Hung, Chairman of Vinataba Trade Union, emphasized: “The 6th Art Performance of Workers and Employees of the Corporation with the theme “Vinataba – Firm Faith, Firm Steps to the Future” is a practical and meaningful activity, praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the heroic tradition of the nation and the working class of Vietnam; at the same time honoring the love for the homeland, the country, the profession and the workers of Vinataba”.

This year’s mass art performance continues to honor the unique cultural identity of Vinataba – where workers are not only good at their profession but also have passion and artistic emotions. On stage, each song and dance conveys pride, love for the profession, and a spirit of attachment to the organization and the country. The mass art movement is therefore increasingly widespread, contributing to building a cohesive, positive and creative working environment, imbued with the spirit of “Good Work – Beautiful Life – Art”.

To have outstanding performances, the teams have spent nearly two months diligently preparing. From choosing the theme, staging, practicing to stage design, costumes, etc., everything has been carefully invested with a high sense of responsibility. Hundreds of workers and employees working at factories and enterprises have transformed into real "artists", dedicating their whole heart through performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland, the country and the hardworking and creative Vinataba people.

With the careful preparation of the Organizing Committee, the impartial working spirit of the Jury and the enthusiastic cheers of the audience, the 6th festival - 2025 promises to be an emotional cultural festival, affirming the spirit of solidarity and aspiration for sustainable development of the Vinataba collective.
