Musician Duong Khac Linh said Linh Cam - the first live show in his career - is not to summarize or prove anything, but just to look back on 15 years of his career with both joy and sadness.

The Linh Cam live show will take place on the evening of December 14 at the Performing Arts Stage - Hanoi Museum, celebrating 15 years of artistic activities of musician Duong Khac Linh.

Duong Khac Linh "does not want to prove anything"

Duong Khac Linh shared that he planned to do a show to celebrate his 10-year career, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he had to put the plan on hold.

"Thanks to that, I have more time to prepare more carefully for the concert celebrating 15 years of my career," the musician said. "This live show is not to summarize or prove anything, but just to look back, to say thank you, to sing again with my dear friends the songs that have been with us, as well as with the audience who have accompanied my music ."

Linh Cam recounts the musical journey that brought Duong Khac Linh home. The musician began his professional career in 1998 at Quiet Storm (Netherlands), but in 2007 he returned to Vietnam to complete his thesis and was invited to be an interpreter for two Dutch musicians in an interview with musician Duc Tri, leading to working at Music Face of musician Duc Tri.

"Today, when looking back, Linh sees how many melodies have been born, how many faces, how many memories have accompanied her music. There are songs Linh wrote in joy, and there are also songs born from sadness. All are a part of life, in music that Linh always cherishes," Duong Khac Linh confided.

The name of the live show is a wordplay combining the musician’s name and his feelings for music. This is an opportunity for Duong Khac Linh to look back on his creative journey with many songs loved by the public: Please forgive me, Please don’t be silent, Canh hong phai, Dong xanh, Dung nhu thuc hat, Yeu va yeu …

Duong Khac Linh received music awards such as Blue Wave, Vietnamese Song... In addition, he is also behind many notable film soundtracks, including Duy Nhat Cho Em , the soundtrack of Trang Quynh (2019) which brought him the Golden Kite Award.

Ho Ngoc Ha, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Trung Quan... reunite

The live show brings together artists who have accompanied Duong Khac Linh such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Trung Quan, JayKii, Sara Luu and Luu Hien Trinh.

If Ho Ngoc Ha was together in the early stages, with the hit song Xin Hay Thu Tha (2009), Noo Phuoc Thinh brought youthful energy. This live show is a rare occasion for Ho Ngoc Ha and Noo Phuoc Thinh to reunite with the capital's audience on the same stage.

With Duong Khac Linh, Trung Quan's voice is a combination of technique and emotion. The two once collaborated on the song Thank You Mom .

Meanwhile, Sara Luu, his life partner and close musical collaborator, not only performed many of Duong Khac Linh's songs but also witnessed and shared with him all the ups and downs in his life and career.

Linh Cam is also an opportunity for JayKii - along with Sara Luu with the hit " Dung nhu thuat hanh " that "caused a storm" in 2018 - to reunite on stage, bringing the audience new remixes.

With Luu Hien Trinh, the musician said she has the ability to "tell stories with her voice". If you listen to Trinh's recordings once, you will feel the depth of emotion and sophistication that few singers have.

According to information from the organizers, the songs in the live show are completely new in terms of harmony, arrangement, staging and visuals. Each performance is designed as a small chapter in Duong Khac Linh's 15-year career journey.
