Merging of Da Nang and Quang Nam Tourism Associations

DNO – On July 9, at Furama Resort Danang, Danang Tourism Association and Quang Nam Tourism Association officially held an Executive Committee meeting on the merger between the two Associations.

Accordingly, the two Associations agreed on the merger policy and nominated Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association (old) as the interim Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association.

The office of Da Nang Tourism Association is located at Ariyana Danang International Convention Palace; the association's second office is located in Hoi An ward .

On Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association, said that the merger of the two Associations was the result of discussions and consensus between leaders and members, recognizing the importance of close cooperation to optimize resources, diversify tourism products and enhance competitiveness. Instead of operating independently, a joint organization will have a stronger voice, making it easier to recommend policies, invest, promote together and create attractive joint product packages for tourists.

The event marks an important milestone in the development of the tourism industry in the Central region, opening a new era towards the goal of sustainable tourism development and enhancing the position of Da Nang as a destination.
