Not long ago, assistant coach Nova Arianto revealed: "We have chosen three names: Ivar Jenner, Justin Hubner and Rafael Struick to participate in the AFF Cup 2024. However, the team still needs to receive the consent of their parent clubs.

Of course, this force cannot be compared to the Indonesian squad competing in the third qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup due to the absence of a series of quality naturalized players. However, they are still capable of competing at the Southeast Asian level.
