Opening of the training conference for the Internal Security force

On April 8, 2024, in Quang Ninh province, the Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Public Security organized a training conference for the national Internal Security force. Attending the opening ceremony of the Conference were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Ky, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ninh Province; Major General Dinh Van Noi, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police. The Domestic Security Training Conference took place from April 8 to April 10, with the participation of more than 400 key officials of the domestic security forces nationwide. In his opening speech, Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Viet, Director of the Department of Domestic Security, stated that recently, the domestic security situation has continued to arise a number of new issues that are increasingly complex and unpredictable; the plots, methods, and tricks of sabotage activities of hostile forces and types of subjects have changed a lot and are increasingly more reckless and dangerous. In addition to the results and achievements that have been achieved, the work of ensuring domestic security has also revealed certain limitations that need to be corrected and overcome.

Through the training conference to unify the awareness of the entire force system on the plots, methods, tricks, sabotage activities of all kinds of reactionary, terrorist, extremist opposition groups and issues of religious, ethnic and social security; disseminate, thoroughly grasp and concretize the Resolutions and Directives of the Party and the Ministry of Public Security in the work of ensuring domestic security; unify viewpoints, guiding ideology, measures, countermeasures and exchange experiences in handling actual situations that occur in ensuring domestic security. Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that in recent times, domestic security work has continued to be ensured and maintained, making an important contribution to protecting political security, social order and safety, effectively serving the goals of building and protecting the Fatherland. Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang requested the delegates participating in the training to proactively discuss outstanding issues and share real-life situations that occurred in the work of ensuring domestic security. From there, unify awareness, viewpoints, guiding ideology as well as measures and policies... Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang noted that the domestic security force needs to focus on solutions to firmly ensure security in strategic areas. Proactively prevent, fight, stop, and neutralize all plots and activities of reactionaries and opponents... Prevent from afar and early on terrorist plots and activities, reckless sabotage...
