On September 14, Hai drove a Yamaha Exciter motorcycle without a license plate to sell to Mr. PQK (permanent resident of Village 1, Truong Xuan Commune, Lam Dong Province). Realizing that the motorcycle had many suspicious signs, Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police coordinated with Truong Xuan Commune Police to summon Hai to work and clarify the origin of the property.

Evidence of the case

At the police station, Hai confessed that from September 10 to 14, he had committed three consecutive thefts, appropriating three motorbikes from people in Dong Gia Nghia ward, Nam Gia Nghia ward and Truong Xuan commune (Lam Dong). It is known that Hai has two previous convictions for property theft and one previous conviction for property theft.

Through the incident, Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police warned: Thieves often take advantage of loopholes in the management and protection of people's property such as: leaving motorbikes unlocked, without anti-theft devices or leaving them in unattended places. People need to be more vigilant, proactively protect their property and proactively notify the police when they detect suspicious subjects to contribute to maintaining security and order in the area.

During the investigation and verification of the case, Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police temporarily detained a Yamaha Exciter motorbike with license plate 043.57, whose owner, manager, and legal user have not yet been identified.
