These days, the nearly 130-year-old rose garden in Dai Hue mountain, Nam Anh commune (Nam Dan district, Nghe An province) has attracted hundreds of tourists to visit and check-in.

The ancient rose gardens here connect with the Kim Lien Special Relic Site and Dai Tue Pagoda, creating a complete tourist attraction for the area.

For a truly meaningful trip, visitors should visit Uncle Ho's hometown, Sen Village, visit the tomb of Hoang Thi Loan; then, take a car or motorbike for about 15 minutes to reach the Rose Garden and visit Dai Tue Pagoda.

Here, the hundred-year-old rose gardens are in full bloom, creating a wild landscape that attracts tourists from all over the world from the end of November.

At this time, the weather in Nghe An is cool. When the sun is no longer shining, the persimmons begin to ripen, looking from afar like sparks of fire lighting up a corner of the sky, creating a romantic scene.

The Dai Hue rose garden of Nguyen Trong Sach's family has an area of 2 hectares, where there are 130-year-old rose trees, tens of meters high. This attracts hundreds of tourists to visit and check-in.

Especially on weekends, the rose garden welcomes 500-700 visitors. Visitors to Dai Hue rose garden only need to buy tickets at the price of 40,000 VND/adult, 20,000 VND/child.

If needed, visitors can rent a variety of costumes, accessories and photography services to capture memorable moments in the ancient rose garden. In addition, the owners of the rose gardens also arrange props such as chairs, fruit baskets, guitars, etc. for visitors to comfortably check in; at the same time, they will guide and suggest corners with beautiful views.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Sach, owner of Dai Hue rose garden, said that since 2021, he surveyed and found that there was an ancient rose garden on Dai Hue mountain. There are many households in Nam Anh commune growing roses here, so he came up with the idea of building this rose garden into an eco-tourism destination.

Doing eco-tourism from the rose garden will be very unique, strange, and few places do it, so he believes it will be successful when implemented.

According to Mr. Sach, to have the most beautiful pictures, visitors should prepare light-colored dresses such as white, light pink. The best time to take pictures is around 3-5 pm because at this time the sun is just right, the weather is also pleasant for visitors to comfortably pose.

Not only admiring the roses, visitors can directly rent tents and camp to rest right in the garden. In the evening, visitors can also have BBQ parties with family and friends right at the foot of the mountain, next to Dai Hue rose garden.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Anh (living in Vinh city), last year, she and her family visited here and this year decided to come back. She loves the wild, unique beauty of the rose garden.

To prepare for the trip, her family also rented a camping tent and prepared food for a BBQ party. This is truly an ideal place to immerse yourself in nature, temporarily leaving the hustle and bustle of the city.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Manh Tuong (from Ha Tinh ) shared that after visiting Uncle Ho's hometown of Sen Village, on the way to Dai Tue Pagoda, his group came across this lovely garden.

From afar, the ripe persimmons looked like tiny lanterns, making everyone excited. Therefore, everyone decided to stop by to visit and take pictures. He was really surprised because the scenery here was no different from a miniature Da Lat.

Mr. Ho Viet Sy, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Anh Commune, said that the local government has planned two more tourist spots from the rose garden. The district and commune are calling on investors to continue to come to Dai Hue Mountain to do eco-tourism.

However, the rose gardens here are only over 1 hectare in area, so investors need to cooperate with households to expand the area. In addition, investors need to open more resting, dining and restroom services to better serve tourists.

This eco-tourism method has created more livelihoods for local people, especially growing roses brings high income to people in the commune.

Currently, the whole commune has hundreds of households growing persimmon trees on an area of about 150 hectares. Each year, the whole commune harvests about 600 tons of fruit.

In previous years, people in the commune often suffered from good harvests but low prices. However, since the development of tourism from rose gardens, visitors can freely choose and buy roses right at the foot of Dai Hue mountain at a price of 30,000-35,000 VND/kg (double the price of 2021 and earlier). Thanks to that, the life and income of people here have been improved.
