The Nha Trang Bay Management Board (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province) has just sent a notice to businesses with inland waterway ports on Nha Trang Bay requesting coordination in inspecting and monitoring the collection of fees for visiting scenic spots in Nha Trang Bay.
Accordingly, this agency will send officials/employees to tourist routes/destinations specified in Resolution No. 02/2025/NQ-HDND dated August 15, 2025 of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council to perform the task of inspecting and supervising the payment of entrance fees by tourists.
Nha Trang Bay Management Board requests businesses to create favorable conditions for arranging convenient locations at the wharf for officers/employees of the unit to directly supervise tourists; at the same time, requests businesses to coordinate when there is a request to check, compare documents, and collect entrance fees from tourists. The fee collection process must ensure transparency and accuracy.
Previously, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 02/2025/NQ-HDND dated August 15, 2025 regulating the fee collection rate and the collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting Nha Trang Bay scenic spots.
Accordingly, Route 1 (Hon Mieu Island) has a fee of 6,000 VND/person/trip; Route 2 (Hon Tam Island) 8,000 VND/person/trip; Route 3 (Hon Tre Island) 8,000 VND/person/trip; Route 4 (Hon Mot Island) 8,000 VND/person/trip; Route 5 (Hon Mun Island) 10,000 VND/person/trip; Route 6 (combined routes) 40,000 VND/person/trip.
The fee collection agency is Nha Trang Bay Management Board (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province) which is allowed to keep 50% of the total fee collected to serve the management work of the unit, and pay the remaining 20% of the fee to the State budget.
To implement this Resolution, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requests relevant agencies and units to organize the implementation of Resolution No. 02/2025/NQ-HDND according to assigned functions and authorities.
Khanh Hoa province also stipulates that subjects exempted or reduced from fees must provide documents and records to prove the fees to the fee collection agencies and organizations.
Specifically, children under 6 years old need to provide an original birth certificate or a certified copy of the birth certificate or an identification code as prescribed; citizens residing in Khanh Hoa need to provide a VNEID or citizen identification card/identification code as prescribed; other subjects must have proof documents confirmed by competent authorities in accordance with regulations.
