Marvel at the ancient Egyptian relief carving the entire zodiac
Sculptures on ancient Egyptian temple walls have amazed scientists with detailed depictions of the zodiac and celestial movements.

There is a zodiac relief found on the ceiling of the temple's hall. It contains all twelve signs of the zodiac, the outermost planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars, as well as depictions of the so-called seven arrows and constellations that the ancient Egyptians used to measure time. Above the temple entrance is a relief depicting 46 eagles standing in two rows, some bearing the heads of the Upper Egyptian goddess Nekhbet, and others bearing the heads of the Lower Egyptian goddess Wadget.
