This afternoon (October 15), the People's Committee of Tay Nha Trang Ward ( Khanh Hoa ) announced that it has announced a search for the parents or relatives of an abandoned newborn baby girl who was accidentally discovered and rescued by local people.

Earlier, at around 4am the same day, while Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Anh - a resident of residential group 3, Phu Thanh area, Tay Nha Trang ward, was exercising on the local road, she heard an unusual baby cry. After searching, Ms. Anh saw a newborn baby girl abandoned near the barrier of the trans-Vietnam railway, near the former Nha Trang Transport Hospital. At that time, the newborn baby girl was wrapped in a T-shirt with the umbilical cord still uncut.
Immediately after that, Ms. Anh and local people urgently took the baby girl to Vinh Hiep Medical Station for doctors and nurses to check her health, cut the umbilical cord, warm her up and provide intensive care. When she entered the medical station, the baby girl weighed 3.2 kg and was in normal health, but Vinh Hiep Medical Station later transferred her to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for better care.
