The first semi-final of the Antwerp Billiards World Cup 2025 is the match between Bao Phuong Vinh and Tasdemir Tayfun (Türkiye), taking place at 5:00 p.m. (Vietnam time). This promises to be an exciting confrontation, as Phuong Vinh is in extremely good form, while Tasdemir Tayfun is a veteran of the European and world 3-cushion carom scene.

In terms of international achievements, Tasdemir Tayfun is superior to the Vietnamese player. Tayfun currently holds 3 World Cup billiards championships and 1 World Championship in 2022. Meanwhile, Bao Phuong Vinh won the World Championship in 2023, but has never won the World Cup billiards.

Previously, in the round of 16 and quarter-finals, Bao Phuong Vinh won against Gokhan Salman (Türkiye) and Sameh Sidhom (Egypt). In the round of 16, the Vietnamese player defeated Salman with a score of 50-36, after 21 rounds. In the quarter-finals, the player born in 1995 beat Sidhom 50-27, after 25 rounds.

The remaining semi-final match takes place at 7:30 p.m., between Martin Horn (Germany) and Glenn Hofman (Netherlands).

The two semi-final winners will compete for the championship in the match taking place at 11pm (Vietnam time).
