52-year-old single mother refuses to date male security guard 10 years older

In the latest episode of You Want to Date , the pairing result of Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (born 1972) and Huynh Van Quan (born 1962) left many regrets.

Thanh Thuy used to be married but her husband passed away 11 years ago. She got married in 2011 and had a daughter a year later. Currently, the girl's family lives in Hoc Mon (HCMC) and runs a cosmetics business.

In her fifties, Thanh Thuy hopes to meet a man who knows how to listen, care and share, not conservative or patriarchal.

This job brings in an average monthly income of 8 million VND. However, he does not intend to work as a security guard long term, but only uses the capital to do business and trade.

Up to now, 7 years have passed, the groom's family has not returned to their hometown. Occasionally, Van Quan talks to his children through phone calls. He said: "In my life's memories, there are many complicated things. I don't want to return home to see each other anymore."

He said: "I worried about them having a house, land, and a place to depend on. They betrayed me, married someone else, and brought their lover home to beat me. I still have a scar on my hand, and I will remember it for the rest of my life."

Coming to the dating program, the groom hopes to find a woman who is faithful, gentle, and hard-working. He hopes that if the other person has any problems in their heart, the two of them can talk to each other to resolve the problems.

On their first meeting, Thanh Thuy brought a gift box for the groom's family. Meanwhile, Van Quan showed off his cooking skills with his specialty, which is also a traditional dish of the Western region - fake dog meat with pig's feet.

Van Quan added that he is a brave, diligent person, proud of having lived in the business world, working for hire to earn money to marry his wife.

"He is a man who pampers and loves his wife and children. For 32 years, since the birth of his child, he has washed his wife and children's clothes with his own hands. When they broke up, everyone went to a vegetarian restaurant to celebrate and then each went their separate ways, smiling without saying a single harsh word," Van Quan said.

Before making a decision, he expressed his wish that the girl's family would give them a chance and create conditions to get to know each other.
