Vehicle owners who already have an ETC account used on national highways and expressways can pass through the airport toll lane without having to stick an additional card or incur additional procedures because this system is integrated synchronously.
From November 21, Noi Bai International Airport organized a trial run of phase 1 with 3 exit lanes of the cashless collection system and automatic collection of non-stop services for entry/exit, stopping and parking at the car park of Passenger Terminal T1.
Accordingly, the trial run of the cashless collection system and automatic collection of non-stop car parking service for the flow of vehicles exiting the overpass of Passenger Terminal T1 (not using the car parking lot) includes 3 exit lanes.

All types of vehicles operating on public roads as prescribed by law (except container trucks) are allowed to pass through the lane, including: vehicles that must pay fees, priority vehicles that are exempt from service fees, vehicles with monthly tickets, and vehicles operating in the transport business with a contract with Noi Bai International Airport.
The trial exploitation lanes meet flexible toll collection methods such as non-stop toll collection, cashless toll collection (payment via bank card) and cash toll collection for all vehicles that are subject to time-based service fee payment.
No lane toll collection is applied to priority vehicles, vehicles with monthly tickets, and transport business vehicles with contracts with the Port.

Statistics show that every day at Noi Bai International Airport, there are nearly 15,000 vehicles paying in cash at the toll booth. The collection of car fees entering and leaving the airport has been done manually, drivers have to stop their cars in front of the toll booth to get a card and pay cash at the exit, which can easily lead to local congestion, especially during peak hours and holidays.
The project to deploy a cashless collection system and non-stop automatic collection system is chaired by the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) at 5 international airports with large passenger traffic (Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang , Phu Bai, Cat Bi).
This is to help facilitate vehicles to quickly exit, access the station quickly and conveniently, and contribute to ensuring traffic safety.
This is also one of the important items in the roadmap to increase the application of information technology in operations at airports to continuously improve and enhance the quality of service for passengers arriving and departing through the ports.
On the first day of the 3-lane trial run, more than 11,000 vehicles passed through and successfully transacted. Noi Bai International Airport recommends that passengers check the status of their ETC cards so that when they pass through these 3 lanes, their cards will be automatically deducted, ensuring smooth and quick traffic.
