Sold 5,000 HAH shares without disclosing information, Hai An Unloading controller explained that due to poor eyesight, he placed the wrong shares.
In a written explanation to the State Securities Commission (HoSE), Ms. Tran Thi Thom - controller of Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HAH), stated that her eyesight was poor and she wanted to sell other stocks but mistakenly placed the order as HAH. "This is the first time I have made this mistake. I would like to report and explain and commit to strictly complying with the regulations in the future," she stated.
Previously, Ms. Thom sold 5,000 HAH shares on October 9. In this session, the stock code of Hai An Handling closed at 40,550 VND per unit. Accordingly, the total transaction value is estimated at more than 202 million VND.
The time when Ms. Thom sold 5,000 shares occurred before the period of serious price decline of HAH shares. Since then, this code has gradually dropped to the area of 30,000 VND per unit at the end of the month, meaning a decrease of about one-third of the market price.
Currently, HAH shares are trading at VND36,000, up about 29% from the beginning of the month and 12% from the beginning of the year. However, this level is lower than the peak price at the end of July when HAH reached VND51,400 per unit on July 25.
