Vingroup supports 500 billion VND for people affected by storm Bualoi

On October 1, Vingroup sent an urgent dispatch to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front proposing urgent support of VND500 billion for people affected by storm Bualoi. The relief will be implemented immediately from today to promptly share difficulties and support local people to quickly stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.

Vingroup Corporation will provide emergency support in all provinces, cities, and communes directly affected by storm Bualoi, focusing on three main groups: Families whose people died due to the storm; families whose houses were completely collapsed; and families of meritorious people, war invalids and martyrs, and households in especially difficult circumstances whose houses had their roofs blown off by the storm.

The specific support levels are as follows:

Families with deceased or missing members: Support amount is 100 million VND/deceased or missing person.

Families whose houses were completely collapsed: Support amount is 60 million VND/household

Families of meritorious people, war invalids and martyrs, and extremely poor households whose houses have lost their roofs: Support amount is 20 million VND/household.

The total minimum support budget is 500 billion VND and Vingroup committed to increase the budget if the actual damage exceeds the estimate.

On October 1, through Thien Tam Fund, Vingroup coordinated with local authorities to deploy emergency relief. Rapid response teams will go directly to the scene to review and pay according to the confirmed list, ensuring timely, targeted and transparent support.
