Improving skills for Vietnamese women entrepreneurs

Online training course to help Vietnamese female businesses export to the EU via e-commerce provides knowledge about the export process.


In order to support women-owned businesses in Vietnam to expand their export markets to Europe through e-commerce platforms, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the SheTrades Program of the International Trade Center (ITC SheTrades) organized an intensive online training course on export promotion.

The training will take place over two days, March 18 and 19, 2025, online via Zoom, with four sessions focusing on practical content:

- Session 1: Overview of cross-border e-commerce, export regulations and customs procedures.

- Session 2: Instructions on how to effectively use e-commerce platforms to optimize online stores.

- Session 3: Skills in handling inquiry letters, managing RFQs (Request for Quotations) and using the Trade Assurance payment gateway.

- Session 4: Building an e-commerce marketing strategy, approaching customers in the EU market.

The training content will be guided by a team of lecturers who are senior experts from ministries, sectors and projects related to the field of export promotion. Through the program, businesses will be equipped with knowledge and practical skills to help improve competitiveness and take advantage of opportunities from digital platforms for sustainable development.

This activity follows the success of the Launching Ceremony of the Project “Promoting exports to the European market through an e-commerce platform for women-owned businesses in Vietnam”, affirming the commitment to supporting women businesses to integrate and expand into international markets.
