The holiday schedule applies to all preschool, general education , continuing education, secondary and college education institutions. From October 7, educational institutions will proactively monitor the development of floods and storm circulation to report to the People's Committees of communes, wards and the Department of Education and Training, and consider allowing students to continue to stay home from school if the weather conditions remain complicated.
The Department of Education and Training requests units to urgently deploy storm prevention and control measures; closely monitor warning bulletins, regularly update weather developments; review and supplement plans to ensure absolute safety for students, teachers and educational administrators, especially at facilities with boarding and semi-boarding students. Schools need to reinforce facilities, relocate important assets, organize 24/7 duty and strictly implement the "4 on-site" motto.

In case the weather continues to be complicated, leaders of units, educational institutions and People's Committees of communes and wards will proactively decide to let students stay home from school, and at the same time develop plans for online teaching, assign lessons or organize make-up classes after overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
After the storm, schools need to urgently repair damaged facilities, inventory damage, ensure teaching and learning are stable soon, and not interrupt the educational program.
