From October 7, educational institutions will proactively monitor the development of floods and storm circulation to report to the People's Committees of communes, wards and the Department of Education and Training, and consider allowing students to continue to stay home from school if the weather conditions remain complicated.

The Department of Education and Training requests units to urgently deploy storm prevention and control measures; closely monitor warning bulletins, regularly update weather developments; review and supplement plans to ensure absolute safety for students, teachers and educational administrators, especially at facilities with boarding and semi-boarding students. Schools need to reinforce facilities, relocate important assets, organize 24/7 duty and strictly implement the "4 on-site" motto.
