From an ordinary school to an educational highlight

Nghia Binh Secondary School, located in Quy Nhat Commune - a predominantly agricultural area of Ninh Binh Province, was still a school with average educational quality more than ten years ago. Working and studying conditions were still difficult, most of the parents were farmers, and students lacked the conditions to study outside of class.

In the 2024-2025 high school entrance exam, Nghia Binh Secondary School had one valedictorian and 5/7 students with the highest scores at Nghia Hung B High School, Nam Dinh Province (old). In the 2025-2026 school year, the school ranked 2/24 schools in the district in terms of high school entrance quality, in which Literature ranked 1st, English ranked 2nd, and Math ranked 4th.

Nguyen Quang Vinh, an 8A student at Nghia Binh Secondary School, won second prize at the provincial level in the Science and Technology Research Competition.

That success has created a buzz, attracting many parents in neighboring communes to send their children to study at the school. The community's trust in Nghia Binh Secondary School is increasingly strengthened. With persistent efforts, the school is honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee for the 2023-2024 school year and the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2024-2025 school year, recognizing the title of excellent labor collective.

Party cell - "nucleus" of leadership, comprehensive innovation

The school Party cell is the center of leadership, the place to orient political and ideological, build and mark changes in the quality of education. Through regular activities, the Party cell fully disseminates the Party's policies and resolutions, the State's laws on education to cadres, teachers and employees. Thanks to that, the sense of self-cultivation, training, responsibility and political mettle of the teaching staff is enhanced.

The Party cell also leads the building of a strong team - a key factor in improving the quality of education. The school clearly defines: teachers must not only teach words but also "teach people", meaning both imparting knowledge and educating personality. Party members in the school are required to be pioneers and role models in all activities: from teaching to participating in extracurricular activities, scientific research or union work. Comrade Party cell Secretary, Principal of Nghia Binh Secondary School Bui Thi Oanh received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee for the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

Under the leadership of the Party Cell, the school has implemented five key solutions to make a breakthrough in quality: correct political and ideological orientation; building a strong team; combining "teaching words" and "teaching people"; innovating management - improving the quality of teaching and learning; and coordinating family - school - society to build a healthy educational environment.

Towards comprehensive education

One of the highlights is that the Party cell directs the school to closely link “teaching words” and “teaching people”. In addition to improving the quality of learning, the school promotes moral education, life skills, organizes experiential activities, scientific and technical research, culture and sports. In particular, Nguyen Quang Vinh (class 8A) won second prize at the provincial level in the Science and Technology Research Competition for high school students, clearly demonstrating this correct direction.

In the context of general education program innovation, the Party Cell has led the Board of Directors to organize innovation in teaching, testing and assessment methods towards developing students' capacity. Information technology is applied in teaching and school management, teachers are encouraged to participate in excellent teacher competitions, write experience initiatives, and implement digital transformation, all of which are considered by the Party Cell as criteria for evaluating party members and teachers every year.

Not only operating in schools, the Party Cell also pays great attention to the coordination between schools, families and society. The relationship between local authorities, unions and the Parents' Association is firmly established.
