Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province, in recent days, groups, individuals and businesses in the province have actively donated to support people to overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods. In addition to financial support, there are also trucks carrying goods and necessities, carrying the hearts of Khanh Hoa people towards people affected by storms and floods with the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".
Sending all my love
On a weekend morning, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province - where donations for people in provinces affected by storms and floods were received, many officials were moved when they received a group of students from Xuong Huan Primary School (Nha Trang Ward) who came to hand over all the money they had saved to support the people. Here, the students carefully sat and counted each bill with a denomination of 5,000 to 100,000 VND that had just been opened in their piggy banks. They were: Nguyen Minh Nhi, Nguyen Ngoc Linh Dan, Vo Tu Nghi (class 5/1); Nguyen Ngoc Dan Nhi (class 1/1). Nguyen Minh Nhi shared: "I saw on TV that many places were hit by storms and floods, houses collapsed, water flooded, children had their clothes and books washed away, it was so sad. Although the amount of money saved was not much, I wanted to send it all to my friends to buy books, just hoping that they could go back to school soon." It is known that the entire amount of 300,000 VND Nhi donated to people in the flood-hit areas was thanks to Nhi helping with housework and studying well, which was rewarded by her parents for over a year. In 2024, Nhi was also one of the children who personally made hundreds of greeting cards to sell, and the proceeds were donated to people in the flood-hit areas of the Central region.
