She often enters class early, stays after class to discuss further, and even reminds the whole class about the schedule and assignment submission schedule.”

What makes Ms. Nhung even more special is her positive spirit of sharing and contributing to the lessons. Her opinions are profound, drawn from her rich life and professional experience. Many years of working in a hospital environment help her have a practical perspective, flexibly applying psychological knowledge to specific situations. The combination of new knowledge and her rich life experience makes the discussions more lively and profound.

During her studies, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung also encountered many difficulties, especially in accessing technology and using software for learning, testing and assessment. However, with a spirit of perseverance and eagerness to learn, she made efforts to overcome, excellently completed all the requirements of the program and graduated with honors. Her story is a clear proof that: acquiring new knowledge at any age is feasible and valuable.

According to Master Pham Van Sy, Ms. Nhung's learning journey clearly demonstrates the value of the spirit of lifelong learning that Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and society always aim for.

“Mrs. Nhung’s story is a shining example of the spirit of ‘study, study more, study forever’. The fact that she overcame all obstacles to graduate with honors at the age of 70 is the most concrete and meaningful proof of self-study ability and unlimited thirst for knowledge. Studying is not only a journey of youth, but also a process of constantly improving oneself, adapting to society and finding joy in knowledge,” Mr. Sy emphasized.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Nhung has strongly inspired not only her generation but also the younger generation, reminding them that passion and determination to learn is a flame that never goes out.
