On October 10, a working delegation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission led by Mr. Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and congratulated the Vietnam Education Publishing House on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese book publishing, printing and distribution industry.

During 68 years of establishment and development, Vietnam Education Publishing House has accompanied the cause of cultivating people, devotedly serving the education sector, contributing to improving people's knowledge, training human resources, and nurturing talents for the country. In recent years, Vietnam Education Publishing House has carried out an important task, which is to compile textbooks according to the 2018 general education program.

To promote tradition and affirm the brand of "leading bird" in the publishing, printing and book distribution industry nationwide, Mr. Phan Xuan Thuy hopes and suggests that in the coming time, Vietnam Education Publishing House will continue to innovate its content and methods of operation, perform well the political task of compiling textbooks, and propagate the viewpoints, guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State.

In his speech of thanks, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House said: Through 68 years of establishment and development, Vietnam Education Publishing House has carried out the political task of publishing educational books. However, during the development process, it has made its mark as a publishing house with many intellectual products.

Recently, Vietnam Education Publishing House has pioneered digital transformation and achieved many remarkable achievements. In the coming time, Vietnam Education Publishing House will continue to focus on digital transformation, restructuring the product structure model from paper to digital.

“As a big publisher, we must have big products. In addition to textbooks, we must have books to popularize knowledge, providing knowledge to the whole society to serve the lifelong learning society. In the next 5-year term, we will focus on transforming products. In addition to textbooks, there will be products that are the strengths of the Vietnam Education Publishing House such as dictionaries, literature, culture, knowledge, and education books,” Mr. Thanh shared.
