Many activities to honor meritorious people and policy families

Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 20, a number of agencies and units organized a program to return to the source; visit, give gifts, examine and provide free medicine to people with meritorious services and policy families in Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation of the Thai Nguyen Cadres Association in Hanoi offered incense and flowers at the 27-7 National Historical Site, Dai Phuc Commune.

* The Organizing Committee of the Program "Living forever with the country" coordinated with the Thai Nguyen Cadres Association in Hanoi and related units to organize a journey to the source and give gifts to policy families in Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation led by comrade Do Manh Hung, former Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office and Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Cadres Association in Hanoi, offered incense and flowers to the souls of President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at the 27-7 National Historical Site in Dai Phuc Commune.

The members of the Union promise to Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs to always unite, join hands, innovate and be creative to contribute to building the homeland and country to be more and more beautiful.

The delegation gave gifts to policy families in Dai Tu commune.

Previously, the delegation and sponsors presented 50 gifts to war invalids, policy families, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Dai Tu commune; and 15 wheelchairs to 15 female Youth Volunteers being cared for at Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center (Dong Hy commune). The delegation expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the previous generation for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Representative of Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center received wheelchairs donated by sponsors.

The journey "back to the source" in Thai Nguyen is one of the meaningful activities within the special art exchange program "Living forever with the country" which will be held on July 27 in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

* On July 19 and 20, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation organized a working delegation to visit and present gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions and inspect the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses in the communes of Na Phac, Thuong Quan and Hiep Luc.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented gifts and inspected the progress of the demolition of the temporary house at the home of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Ky, a resistance fighter who was exposed to toxic chemicals, in Na Lan village, Hiep Luc commune.

The delegation presented 15 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND, to policy families in the three communes mentioned above. At the places visited, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation expressed their deep gratitude for the contributions of meritorious people and policy families to the revolutionary cause; at the same time, encouraged the families to continue promoting traditions, building an increasingly stable and progressive life.

Also on this occasion, the Working Group inspected the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses according to the 2025 plan; recorded difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level to propose solutions to ensure the progress and effectiveness of the Program.

* Also on July 20, Thai Nguyen Medical Center organized medical examinations and provided free medicine to more than 1,000 policy beneficiaries in the communes and wards of Phan Dinh Phung, Quan Trieu, Tich Luong, Linh Son, Quyet Thang and Tan Cuong.

At the program, doctors and nurses of Thai Nguyen Medical Center examined blood pressure, cardiovascular, bone and joint, digestive, respiratory... At the same time, they distributed free medicine and organized health consultations for wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and victims of Agent Orange.

On this occasion, Agribank Thai Nguyen Branch donated 10 million VND to the Program.

Doctors and nurses also guide and educate people on hygiene, disease prevention, and how to take care of their own health and that of their families. The program will run until July 25.
