Artist Tran Ngoc Kien, a member of the Fine Arts Association, hopes: After the merger, artists from the northern communes want to exchange with artists in the provincial center, where the creative movement is more developed, so that we can learn and access new trends and more painting markets.
However, Thai Nguyen fine arts are still facing many difficulties and challenges. That is, the team of professional artists is still lacking, creative activities are not steady. The province does not have a specialized exhibition space or art museum. In the province, there is currently no specialized gallery operating regularly.
Highland artists still face many obstacles in communicating and promoting their works in the art market and cannot make a living from their profession. Investment resources for fine arts are still limited.
Painter Nguyen Gia Bay, a member of the Fine Arts Association, said: In order for fine arts to play an important role in enriching identity and sustainable development, it is necessary to build "community art spaces" at the Provincial Cultural and Art Center or cultural houses of wards and communes. Bring fine arts into extracurricular activities in schools, drawing festivals, exchanges with artists, etc.
Encourage social resources to build art spaces in urban areas, resorts, cafes, showrooms... Organize art streets, walking streets with murals, decorative statues, outdoor installations. These are art spaces that reach out to the community in a proactive, creative and sustainable way.
Painter Duong Van Chung, Head of the Fine Arts Association, said: In the coming time, the Association will organize larger-scale exhibitions, creating more playgrounds and art spaces for painters and art lovers to interact and exchange, aiming to develop the painting market.
