The music and dance performances of the Mobile Propaganda Team, Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center are close to the lives of people in the highlands. |
Following the Mobile Propaganda Team of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center, we arrived at Na Nay village, Na Phac commune. The propaganda location of the Team was the village market. As soon as the car arrived at the market yard, the Team's officers were busy transporting equipment, setting up the stage, installing speakers, lights, and arranging tables and chairs. There was no grand stage, no brilliant screen, only billboards, motivational songs and prepared propaganda information to deliver to the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Head of the Mobile Propaganda Team, shared: This time we organized the propaganda session at a covered market area, so it was very convenient because we were not afraid of rain. There were times when we went to propagate in villages and had to set up a stage outside the village cultural house or a resident's house, but if it rained, the program had to stop. We propagated in batches, each batch lasting about 10 days. We often had to go on business trips to difficult areas, so our luggage was also light, the most important being performance costumes, props and makeup.
Currently, the Provincial Cultural Center has a propaganda team in charge of performing and propagating information about remote areas in the northern part of the province. The team has only 10 people but has to do a lot of work, some are actors, singers who perform and also do the work of setting up the stage, preparing props, adjusting sound and lighting...
While the male propagandists did the heavier work such as carrying things and setting up the stage, the female propagandists took advantage of the opportunity to spread out their seats on the ground behind the stage to do their makeup. Without needing large mirrors or adequate lighting, they performed their work comfortably and happily because they were used to the poor working conditions in remote areas.
While the propaganda team was busy preparing the stage, sound system, and props, many people had arrived very early. They brought chairs, chose the most convenient seats, and eagerly awaited the performance.
Mr. Bui Duy Phung, a member of the Mobile Propaganda Team, shared: Mobile propaganda work is not always smooth. But the people's anticipation at propaganda sessions is the driving force that encourages propagandists to perform with more enthusiasm and dedication. Every time we perform, seeing people applaud and laugh at our skits and good performances, all difficulties seem to disappear.
Information bridge between the Party and the people
Propaganda in the form of dramatization helps people remember and understand easily. |
A propaganda session of the Mobile Propaganda Team serving the people will combine oral propaganda, singing and dancing, and stage plays. Besides the singing and dancing performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland and the country, there will also be Then singing, Tinh lute performances or songs with folk melodies imbued with the cultural identity of the highlands. Thanks to that, it always creates a close atmosphere, is welcomed and loved by the people.
In addition, the content of oral propaganda and stage plays is also edited and developed to suit each period, closely following current events, linked to issues of daily life, such as: Traffic safety; prevention of domestic violence and incestuous marriage; policies of the Party and State...
Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung, Na Nay village, Na Phac commune, shared: The staff of the Mobile Propaganda Team performed very well and enthusiastically with the people. A lot of new information from the province and the State was disseminated to the people very practically.
It can be said that, although information technology has developed strongly, mobile propaganda is still a unique form of communication, rich in identity, capable of effectively reaching all classes of people, especially in remote areas.
Not only conveying information, mobile propaganda performances also bring people moments of relaxation through carefully staged skits that are close and bring lots of laughter and profound lessons.
Mr. Lam Ngoc Du, Director of Thai Nguyen Provincial Cultural Center, shared: To achieve effectiveness in information and propaganda work, the unit regularly stays close to the grassroots, grasps the situation, builds realistic, flexible, rich, attractive propaganda content, and is suitable for the cultural identity of the ethnic groups. The Center's Mobile Propaganda Team also regularly participates in exchanges and learns from experiences from other provinces. In 2025, the Center participated in the National Mobile Propaganda Competition, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2. As a result, the team won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals.
