Honoring outstanding individuals in the farmers' movement in the period 2020 - 2025

Speaking at the seminar, the leaders of the city's Farmers' Association affirmed that, after 8 National Congresses, the Vietnam Farmers' Association has increasingly matured and innovated in terms of organization, content and methods of operation. In particular, the 8th Congress (2023 - 2028 period) clearly defined the direction: Building a strong Vietnam Farmers' Association; promoting the role of farmers as the subject and center in agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction; arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country. This is an important direction for all levels of the Association in the country, including the Hue City Farmers' Association, to continue to make efforts and innovate more strongly.

Along with the development of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, the Hue City Farmers' Association has grown steadily through 10 congresses, increasingly asserting its role in the local political system. From the early days with many difficulties, the Association at all levels has now truly become the core center of the farmers' movement and the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The emulation movements launched by the Association have spread widely, typically: The movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; The movement "Farmers join hands to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; activities to support capital, vocational training, agricultural extension, environmental protection, digital transformation in agriculture ... In particular, in the period of 2020 - 2025, officials and members of the Farmers' Association of Hue city have had many innovations in developing urban agricultural economy, building the model of "Modern Farmers", adapting to climate change and transforming sustainable production structure.

The seminar is an opportunity to review the tradition, arouse the pride and aspirations of the peasant class of Hue city; at the same time, add confidence and motivation for each cadre and farmer member to continue contributing their intelligence and efforts to the cause of developing the homeland in the new period.

On this occasion, the City Farmers' Association honored and commended 95 outstanding individuals who had many outstanding achievements in the farmers' movement in the 2020 - 2025 period.
