To welcome the Lunar New Year and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the Hanoi People's Committee requested agencies, units, hospitals, schools and people in the city to fly the national flag from January 24, 2025 to February 9, 2025.

Every time Tet comes, each house, hamlet, and residential group hangs a red flag with a yellow star in front of their door to welcome the new year.

On the 29th of Tet, the last day before entering 2025, the streets of the capital were deserted and quieter, people could clearly feel the Tet atmosphere, the red color of the flag covered every corner.
