Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long as Chairman of the National Council on Sustainable Development

According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long is Chairman of the National Council on Sustainable Development.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung as Vice Chairman of the Council.

The Council has 30 members including leaders of the following ministries and branches: Ministry of Public Security; Government Office; Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government Inspectorate, State Bank, Committee for Ethnic Minorities, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Central Propaganda Department, Central Economic Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

This Decision comes into force from August 20, 2024.
